Family Movement Group
Building Regulation, Connection, and Resilience Through Movement
This is a parent-child therapeutic movement group designed to support healthy regulation and strengthen family connection through shared movement experiences. Drawing on principles from the Neurosequential Model, each session provides opportunities for families to engage in rhythmic, relational, and sensory-rich activities that support nervous system regulation and emotional well-being.
Through movement, play, supportive touch, and shared experiences, parents and children practice noticing body cues, responding to stress signals, and building regulation skills together. As families move together, they create opportunities for connection, trust, and resilience that can extend beyond the group and into everyday life.
The group is facilitated by a Certified Yoga Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Clinical Social Worker.
